I'm sure people by now have heard about the news of the Linux kernel booting on the Xbox 360. It's impossible to say whether this is a legitimate claim. On the one hand, it does seem like hes running some sort of unsigned code. However, those that have been following 360 hacking will remember that an exploit was found in the shaders for King Kong (the game which he is running). This could just be a fairly simple DirectX shader hack that does nothing more than bounce an image around the screen. However, if this is true, then it is very good news for us! Rest assured, if this ever makes it into the public domain and is legal I will begin working on Gentoox for the Xbox 360!
