News : Why I've been so quiet...
Not really Gentoox related news... and I'm not sure if its even wise to be posting this... but: I've been working on one of my University projects. The task was to code an HTTP server. Aside from keep-alive connections, I think I'm done. Why am I posting? Well, I thought I'd ask you all to try it out - see if you can get it to crash or see if you can exploit it. I know this is risky as its asking for trouble... but if anyone does manage to exploit or break it, please let me know how! Before you get any ideas... the server is NOT running on the Gentoox server, its running on a server at my University. The URL for the server is: http://slink.feis.herts.ac.uk:1337/. Thanks in advance.
*Update*
Woohoo! I've implemented persistent connections for HTTP/1.1 clients... and chunked transfer encoding for persistent connections along with connection timeout! Thanks to everyone who has poked around. I haven't seen any bugs in the logs thus far :)
