I was happily working away on the new version of Gentoox from my laptop when the screen snapped off (as they do...). Thank god I was working over SSH or I'd have ruined the new rootfs. Basically, just posting to say expect further delays since I have to get my PC sorted out (still installing Linux on it)... then I have to somehow afford a new laptop, this will be the _fun_ part *sighs*. I don't think I'll be buying Dell again (and before anyone asks... yes, it is out of warranty.. and no.. I'm not paying for them to fit a new screen and hinges since it would cost about the same price as a new laptop, heh).

*Update*
Making the best of a bad situation... I can use it as a headless laptop, well... it's not really a laptop anymore, more of a backup PC.
