News : Dont expect HDTV/ VGA support any time soon
Unfortunately, there are some pretty bad bugs that are apparent in both Xebian and Gentoox with regards to the XboxFB (framebuffer/ conexant) drivers. These can cause the framebuffer to slow down when the user specifies an HDTV mode, and for some reason, the screen takes on a purple tinge when changing resolution --- though this is only apparent in Gentoox. I was up until 8am trying to solve this, but it doesnt seem possible at the moment.Posted by ShALLaX on Tuesday, December 16 2003 @ 17:50:58 UTC
