KDE vs XFCE

Whilst testing, I thought it would be fun to compare XFCE with KDE to try and get a few people converted from KDE.
All tests were conducted with XVKBD, Mozilla-Firebird and mPlayer running, playing a 750KBps XVid/OGG video file. mPlayer was run as a maximised window in 640x480 resolution. Both tests were performed on clean reboots.
XFCE:
23MB of 56MB used.
0-2% CPU load average.
KDE:
52MB of 56MB used.
2-4% CPU load average.
As you can see, KDE is very memory hungry!
DVDs played flawlessly in both Window Managers, but in XFCE, you have to specify "-vo x11".
