Shutting down/ Rebooting

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU FOLLOW THIS PROCEEDURE OR FACE DATA LOSS

To shutdown:
1) Open a console/konsole
2) su –
3) Enter root password
4) Type “halt” without the quotes

To reboot:
1) Open a console/konsole
2) su –
3) Enter root password
4) Type “reboot” without the quotes
